Role(s): Systems Administrator(Cork)

FDC IT Solutions is a member of FDC Group. Providing IT services to the multiple branches within FDC Group and a number of external clients. It is focused on developing and maintaining systems appropriate to each situation as required.



  • Linux systems administration.
  • Develops documents and maintains procedures for system utilities, such as backups, restores, performance tuning, and configurations and performs daily and monthly backups of production systems and other backups as required.
  • Supports 3rd party tools company wide.
  • Provide consultation and assistance in ongoing companywide upgrades and maintenance.
  • Play a major role in I.T. architectural decisions and deploy them as the company goes forward.
  • Level 2 technical support - Remote access with direct communication.
  • Ability to commute between locations for onsite work.


  • Must hold some related qualification (Level 7 or higher).
  • Full Driver’s License (Republic of Ireland)


  • Knowledge on the following subjects is preferable:
  • Networking (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Packet Switching, etc.)
  • Linux (System commands, configuration, Troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Windows (System, General Use, Troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Virtualization (Operating Systems, Applications, etc.)
  • Current and Future Technologies of benefit to the company.
  • Cyber Security (GDPR, Network Security, Web Security, etc.)

Experience is beneficial but not required.

Role(s): Graduate Trainee Financial Consultants

FDC Financial Services Ltd now have opportunities nationwide for individuals to join our team and progress through the training programme to become a Financial Consultant.

This is a 24 month contract with possibilities following completion for permanent Financial Consultant roles.

The successful candidates will help in the provision of financial planning advice to a broad range of clients. The role will involve helping consultants manage client relationships by providing administration support, research and development and assisting with client inquiries.

  • Partly or fully QFA a huge advantage.

Role: Chartered Tax Adviser/Tax Consultant

FDC Tax Dept. Ltd. is seeking to recruit a Chartered Tax Adviser/Tax Consultant based in our Kilkenny Office to provide planning and compliance support to clients throughout the South Leinster region.

The preferred candidate will hold an honours primary degree from a third-level institution preferably in the field of Commerce, Business Accountancy, Law or other comparable qualification. The candidates should have either completed, commenced or have the intention of commencing the AITI examinations to become a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Preference will be given to qualified Solicitors with relevant experience.  

Salary will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and ability. AITI tax exam fees and study leave will be supported by the company in line with the company’s policy on same. References will be required.
