FDC Charity Fund: Waterford Hospice

FDC Southeast Region is proud to support Waterford Hospice Movement. FDC is committed to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the world.
Through our FDC Charity Fund, we support a range of charitable causes both locally, nationally and globally.
Since our inauguration in 2005, we have donated over €420,000 to various charities, with a focus on supporting programmes that promote sustainable access to food, health and education.
Waterford Hospice Movement (WHM) CLG provides public benefit to patients and their families known to the Southeast Palliative Care Service both in their own homes or place of residence in the Waterford Community Care Area and in the Southeastern Care Centre.
The charity provides patient comforts, equipment, amenities, as well as complementary therapies, counselling and support services.
The charity is now focusing on supporting patients and their families by providing a range of patient comforts, equipment, amenities and complementary therapies in the SEPCC or in their own homes in the community, and in doing so compliment the clinical services provided by the HSE, and overtime reflecting the range of services and supports provided by hospices across the country.
