FDC Charity Fund: St. Gabriel’s Foundation

FDC Western Region is proud to support St. Gabriel’s Foundation.
FDC is committed to giving back to the community and making a positive impact on the world. Through our FDC Charity Fund, we support a range of charitable causes both locally, nationally and globally.
Since our inauguration in 2005, we have donated over €420,000 to various charities, with a focus on supporting programmes that promote sustainable access to food, health and education.
The organisation has existed since 1961 when founder Arthur Crabtree recognised the lack of services there was for children and the families with children who have disabilities.
The foundation works in areas like the Children’s Disability Network Teams who help maximise a child’s independence and participation in all parts of their lives within their community, hydrotherapy and orthotics services, children’s respite, which covers a wide range of respite offerings and St. Gabriel’s School where students with a primary complex physical disability plus or minus complex medical needs can learn in a safe environment.

As a registered charity, we depend on support from the public. Without the help of many individuals, donors and funders we could not be where we are today.
We are supported across the local community and beyond. Our fundraising committees, the local business community, our dedicated staff, service users, individuals, private organisations, companies, schools, colleges and volunteers all play a key role in supporting our various fundraising activities year after year.
We continue to rely on your support and goodwill to generate additional funds. Over the years the funding we have received has been a welcome resource and has been used prudently.
