The recent donation of 1000 euros by FDC Group through the FDC Charity Fund to LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, stands as a testament to its enduring spirit of compassion and community support.
LauraLynn’s history traces back to 1925 when Dr. Ella Webb, a pioneering Dublin pediatrician, recognised the need for a residential setting to provide medical care for children with rickets. With the support of dedicated individuals and voluntary donations, the Children’s Sunshine Home was established, embodying the ethos of caring for disadvantaged children.
Over the years, LauraLynn has evolved, adapting to the changing needs of society while remaining steadfast in its commitment to providing holistic care for children and their families.
