Risk Versus Reward

When selecting which product to invest your available lump sum or surplus cash flow into, requires you to decide what level of risk you are comfortable taking with your funds. It is fair to say that there is a direct correlation between expected annual returns or rewards and the level of risk that you are willing to expose your funds to.

When clients are risk adverse then low risk or guaranteed products such as deposits or bonds should be considered. For clients who are comfortable with high levels of risk then direct investment into equities or specialist unit linked funds can be considered.

Our aim is to establish the appropiate level of risk a client is comfortable with and then design an investment strategy to suit.
